DetroitPoet

DetroitPoet, also known as DP, brings you nothing but Funk and No Love Poetry and DPs Sports Barn… DP resides in Detroit, MI ‘The Ghetto’ as he’s proud of pointing out. He says that someone has to stay in the community to make it a better place. He is our resident King of Hate, although he writes Love poems very well he would rather bring the poetry that has an edge, ghetto, raw and in your face. He comes across sometimes as this really hard brother, but he has a heart of gold. Don’t let his rough exterior fool you. Keep in mind the brother is no push over! Sorry ladies DP is not available, the brother is very much involved.

Barbara Nicholas aka Lady Barbara

Barbara Erna Nicholas, aka LadyB, born in Alton, Illinois, resides in St. Louis, MO. She was asked if she would be interested in hosting a show on VI Radio. Being a lover of music, she jumped at the opportunity, as a result she is now hosting two shows; namely, LadyB's Old Skool Cafe (LBOSC) on VI Radio which airs Mon., Wed., Fri., and Sundays at Noon and 11p.m. EST and LadyB's Smooth Jazz Hour ( LBSJH) which airs 6 p.m. EST Sunday evenings. LBOSC plays old skool music from the 50's through the 70's with, of course, poetic pieces from VI Radio's fantastic poets that are woven in throughout the show; LBSJH plays the best in smooth jazz. Barbara is a middle-aged female who loves music to death; writing poetry, short stories, producing audio poetry; interior decorating, singing, arts & crafts, sewing, cooking, playing board games and cards, crossword puzzles, reading and shopping, etc. LadyB also loves to laugh, make others laugh and enjoys life, because it is too short to do otherwise. She believes that laughter is good for the heart, mind, spirit and body. Her favorite motto is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". LadyB tries to live life moderately, nothing to the excess. She tends to take things lightly, trying not to let anything or anyone but God dominate her completely. She gives all her cares and woes to Our Heavenly Creator. She states, "I find that life is better for me with that frame of mind”. LadyB has four children, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild whom she is very proud of. Being a single grandparent, she loves her individuality and is enjoying life to the best of her ability.
